33 crore approved for the strengthening of electrical infrastructure in Anuppur district

Rs 33 crore has been approved for strengthening the electrical infrastructure of Anuppur district and reducing electrical losses. Out of this, Rs 24 crore has been sanctioned by the Government of India and Rs 9 crore by the State Government in the first phase of Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme.
Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar has informed that construction of 3 new 33/11 KV sub-stations, installation of capacitor banks at 9 places to improve voltage system, separation work of 4 high pressure feeders, 105 distribution Transformer installation, 1892km of low pressure lines, separation of 222 high pressure feeders and conductor capacity enhancement works.
About 8 lakh population of Anuppur district will be benefitted by this. Also, the power demand for the next 10 years will be successfully met.
